You've found the Rocks and Minerals Webquest!  This is the place where you'll start your interactive journey.  This quest contains activities based on individual intelligences designed to match your learning style.

In order to begin, you are encouraged to find out which intelligence is best suited for you. You will find descriptions of the multiple intelligences and will be able to do an online test on this site.  The site requires Flashplayer.  If you do not have Flashplayer installed, either install it from the Macromedia web page or, alternatively, another multiple intelligence test can be found here.

Next, you'll need to read the student expectations.  These will let you know how to go about successfully completing your activity.

Once you've figured out which intelligence matches your learning style and you've read the students expectations, click on the appropriate link on the menu to the left of this text.  Complete the activity with or without a group (2-3 students), as per the directions of the activity.  Be sure to click on all of the links on your activity concept map.  They will guide your learning.  Most of all, have fun!  Be sure to check out the additional resources in the multimedia page of this site.  They will provide further support of the subject matter.
